Love
12 March 2010
Today’s Readings: Hos:14: 2-10/Mk 12: 28-34
REFLECTION
To love God is not a commandment, because when it comes to loving God – there is no limit.
We should love God with all our heart: love him more than we love our loved ones, long for him, forget oneself so that in everything we search for what he wants from us.
We shall love him with all our soul, with all our intelligence. We shall devote the best of our intelligence to know him. Looking into our own life we shall understand how much he has guided us. We love him with all our strength. Since we are very weak in this, we shall ask for his help and strive to unite with the true servants of God using the means that the Church makes available for us.
By praying and reading the Scriptures regularly we can ask God to give us his Spirit so that we may understand him better.
PRAYER
Loving Father, teach us to love you with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our strength – to love you without limits, to love you till the end. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
