Indigent kids get to read CFA Magazines

Last December 4, the Communication Foundation for Asia in partnership with St. Joseph Vessel of Mercy Foundation Inc. shared God’s love 15219473_10210284707727526_6417603468687315718_nto more than 300 indigent kids. Held at St. Joseph House of Serenity at Meycauayan City Bulacan, the kids got to read and take home our CFA Magazines. They were glad to be able to learn and have fun while reading past issues of CFA Magazines.

CFA has been producing educational magazines for the youth and children since 1979 when Pambata Magazine was launched. Today, we welcome the lineup of CFA Magazines that includes, Gospel Komiks, Gospel Komiks Magazine for High School, Gospel Now and the new Gospel Notebook (formerly Jesus Magazine).

CFA looks forward to having more activities with the St. Joseph Vessel of Mercy Foundation Inc. The St. Joseph Vessel of Mercy Foundation Inc. envisions to promulgate and strengthen the Christian faith through various community outreach activities within Meycauayan City and to provide self-enhancement and social life 15241331_10210284663486420_8145038500846889594_nenrichment activities to enable participants and recipients to be socially responsible. The St. Joseph House of Serenity is a retreat house located in Malhacan, Meycauayan Bulacan, Philippines

Who We Are

Communication Foundation for Asia is a pioneer in development communication. It was established in 1968 as a non-stock, non-profit organization, but its origins go way back to 1960, when the Social Communications Center was born with the publication of the Philippine Catholic Digest. Both organizations were founded by the Dutch missionary, Fr Cornelio Lagerwey, MSC, in collaboration with his mission partner Genaro V. Ong.
