Gospel Komiks deepens young readers’ knowledge of the Scriptures and the Christian faith. It features colorfully illustrated contemporary stories based on the Sunday gospels. Its study guides-following the Understanding by Design (UbD) method-stimulate critical thinking as well as spiritual reflection. Readers will have a better understanding of the gospel as they are “popularized” here. There are also guides to common worship through the liturgy of the word.

Gospel Komiks complements Religion as Core Curriculum (RCC) programs in schools.

Who We Are

Communication Foundation for Asia is a pioneer in development communication. It was established in 1968 as a non-stock, non-profit organization, but its origins go way back to 1960, when the Social Communications Center was born with the publication of the Philippine Catholic Digest. Both organizations were founded by the Dutch missionary, Fr Cornelio Lagerwey, MSC, in collaboration with his mission partner Genaro V. Ong.
