DevComm programs held online

The year 2020 was deemed as a buzzing year for our roster of programs and projects, from supposed visits to dioceses and parishes up to immersions with tri-youth in Mindanao. Life goes on amid the pandemic. We are ready to help out communities even if it is not possible to gather our partners and friends like before. We immediately realigned our future plans and worked on continuing our projects such as ZOW@Surigao, peace camp, and Crossroads via online.

The community activities and programs are now online conference-friendly with our webinars. Since May, the Kalinaw Alim series later on followed by Kalinaw ug Paglaum Youth series served as the tri-youth's new creative avenue for peace building. This time, the spotlight goes to the youth speakers leading most of the talks. Now with our, the July launching of ZOW@Surigao webinar series allowed our green efforts for the environment to remain flourishing.

We also came up with a compact Communication Webinar 2020, as a response to the rising needs of strategic communication in a situation where communication mainly bridges everyone. Just like how we utilized online platforms to surpass the struggles created by physical distancing, we hope to spread social media-savvyness to more groups and communities.

The way we have been reaching out to communities were far from the usual. The good thing is even if we are miles away from our partner communities, we remain progressive and started becoming more creative together. This unity is not only seen on Zoom conferences or computer screens but the oneness displayed within our own communities. While Covid-19 has not gone away, our programs and projects are definitely here to stay.
