"Dear Peace" Traveling Exhibit

AUG 28TH 2007

If only we could all write to peace the way 29 Muslim and Christian young students did, he or she will not be too elusive. Aptly titled “Dear Peace”, a message of hope is what the Impressions of Conflict, Expressions of Peace traveling exhibit aims to bring all throughout the country. It will be launched on the occasion of the International Day of Peace on September 21, 2007, Friday, at Ramon Avancena High School (RAHS) in Quiapo.

The exhibit features the different media outputs, i.e. videos, essays, paintings, photographs of a group of Muslim and Christian participants from RAHS who camped together for peace last May 2006. Forming part of the exhibit is a 30-minute documentary also titled Dear Peace, which highlights the lessons and dreams of a more peaceful country of these young people. Set to travel in malls, academic institutions and religious centers in the country’s different regions, Dear Peace will run until 2008.
