Resource Speakers from Different Advocate Partners Gather for Kiddie Kamp Kalingap

One of the Kiddie Kamp Kalingap activities is to conduct discussions during the creative communication camps. However, as there is still a threat of COVID-19, Communication Foundation for Asia has come up with an alternative — to produce video learning materials which would be used during the camp proper.

Seven resource speakers were invited to come to CFA for recording. The speakers were instructed to deliver a short presentation regarding the topics assigned to them. Since the audience are children, additional visuals and sound effects were added to make the presentations engaging and effective.

One of the speakers is Ms. Gennalyn Macalinao of CyberguardiansPH, who highlighted the importance of protecting the rights and dignity of children.

On the other hand, Mr. Edgar Fernandez of the National Commission for Culture and Arts conducted a workshop on self-expression through art.

Other speakers who helped in producing the video materials are Atty. Tricia Clare Oco of Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council, Mr. Joshua Patricio of Council for the Welfare of Children, Dr. Camille Garces Garcia of Clinic of the Holy Spirit, Ms. Florence Pasos of University of the Philippines, and Mr. Remus Villanueva of the National Commission for Culture and Arts.
